- Founded in Kanpur in 1977 by Mr. Javed Alam, our family business began with the manufacture and export of leather saddlery, harness, and pet products.
- In 1988, the business expanded under the name Eastern Saddlery. Today, the second generation continues this legacy through Leather Art, led by Faraz Alam.
- While we also produce selected leather goods, our core expertise remains leather saddlery for international markets — including bridles, browbands, halters, reins, dog collars, and OEM private label collections.
- With nearly five decades of experience, we combine traditional workmanship with the reliability, communication, and consistency modern buyers expect.
